Ayesha Hilton loves creating content! She has published books, journals, colouring books, and even a card deck. She also creates a wide range of content for clients (social media posts, blogs, eBooks, print books, opt-ins, websites, logos, and more). Ayesha is an Amazon Bestselling Author and has a degree in professional writing. She and her former husband wrote Who Gets the Farm: A Practical Guide to Farm Succession Planning after seeing the devastation that poor or no succession planning has on farming families. Ayesha lives in Ballarat with her 13-year-old daughter and 8-year-old son and works from her lovely home office creating content.

There are so many types of content you can create – blogs, social media posts, videos, livestreams, podcasts, books, journals and more. Together, we will explore the smorgasbord of content and then look at the ones that play to your strengths and suit your business.

Create Content Effortlessly in Canva
You’ve probably heard of Canva, and may already use it. This is a powerful online tool that you can use to create much of your content, including social posts, eBooks and other opt-ins, journals, cheatsheets, workbooks, and so much more. I will also show you how much time and effort you can save if you invest in the paid version of Canva.

Batching & Scheduling Content
Save time, energy, and your sanity by batching and scheduling content. I will share the tool I use to schedule content to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest in one go (and that allows you to edit the image and text for each channel).

Strategic Content Creation for Repurposing
If you feel overwhelmed by the amount of content you should be creating to market your business, you are not alone. There is pressure to be on social channels daily, blog regularly, create YouTube videos, do Facebook lives, in addition to actually running your business. In this session, we will look at how you can create content strategically so that it can be repurposed easily. I will also share the tools I use to make this as painless and as automated as possible.

To do this, we will explore:

  • What sort of content do you like to create?
  • What content do you find most difficult to create and wish you didn’t have to do it ever again?
  • What content has been working well in your business thus far?

Once we understand your likes and aversions, as well as what is working well for your business, this will inform your content strategy.

This will help you get control of your content, reduce the overwhelm and the time spent creating content.
