We are seeking Expressions of Interest from women around the world who would like to participate in a revolutionary new Regenerative Agriculture Program, specifically designed FOR women and delivered BY women who are wanting to improve their knowledge and application of regenerative principles in their food production systems, at any scale!

What will you learn?

During the first 8 weeks you will learn the Foundational Principles of Regenerative Agriculture that apply on any scale.

Your Guide

These sessions are hosted by Kim Deans.

Kim is a Regenerative Agriculture Coach, Facilitator and Educator who is inspired by nature, systems thinking, permaculture, holistic management, biodynamic farming & gardening. Kim is passionate about nourishing food grown in healthy, living soils and about empowering farmers to transform their lives, relationships and landscapes to create an enjoyable and profitable businesses from a foundation of soil health.   Kim has a Masters in Agriculture and Bachelor of Rural Science (Hons)..

Week 1 – Connecting to your vision for growing food – in this session you will clarify your vision for growing food and creating abundance, regardless of the size and scale of your operation and desire! You will get clear on where you want to be so you can focus where it matters most to you and your vision, which we will help you create or hone, will provide you direction, inspiration, motivation and confidence to help identify opportunities you might otherwise have missed.

Week 2 – Align with Nature – in this session you will learn how to align with natures rhythms, how to work with the seasons, moon cycles and life cycles. You will learn how life begets life and understand the practices for stewarding life processes and actively creating the conditions for life to thrive. You will learn and implement ways to work smarter not harder and experience the divine flow that comes from working with nature rather than pushing against it.

Week 3 – Soil health is the foundation – in this session you will explore how everything comes back to the health of your soil, you will learn how plant, animal and human health is intricately linked to soil health. You will be guided and shown how to assess your soil health, how to identify practices that improve soil health and know which practices to avoid to prevent damaging soil health. You will identify soil constraints that limit production or create weed, pest and disease problems.

Week 4 – Systems thinking, enhancing whole system observation and problem solving skills – in this session you will hone and enhance your observation skills when it comes to your land, soil and production system. You will learn to see the whole instead of focusing on the parts which will produce an improve yield and experience. You will learn how to build relationships between the elements in your unique system and you will learn strategies that will improve your mindset when it comes to working with the whole and applying systems thinking to processes to problem solving.

Week 5 – Integration and ‘hot seat’ – this session is an open Q&A session and provides an opportunity for you to catch up on course material, deep dive into concepts already learned in a 1:1 hotseat and invites a more practical application of material in a group session.

Week 6 – Managing agricultural ecosystems – in this session you will explore ecological principles as they relate to food production systems and will learn how to incorporate these principles into the design of a successful and regenerative food production system. You will apply the permaculture ethics and principles as a guide to applying ecological thinking.

Week 7 – An holistic view of profit – valuing human, financial & natural capital – in this session you will learn how to assess profit in food production systems and how to take a whole of system approach to profit including human and natural capital as well as cash and equity. You will set benchmarks for profit in three domains – human, natural and financial capital specifically for your production system.

Week 8 – Integration and ‘hot seat’ – this session is an open Q&A session and provides an opportunity for you to catch up on course material, deep dive into concepts already learned in a 1:1 hotseat and invites a more practical application of material in a group session.

CONTINUITY

After completion of the 8 Week Program, you will receive access to weekly LIVE online support through THE Rural Woman’s Bloom CPPD Program which incorporates weekly live online training and peer to peer mentoring in regenerative food and agricultural production. Each month is hosted by a rurally based subject matter expert who will share their knowledge on the specific topic in 2 main sessions. Each session is shared LIVE online and then recorded and made available in a course for access at a time that’s convenient to you. You will also receive access to content created prior to your access!

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT INFORMATION this is an initiative of THE Rural Woman – a business that has delivered hundreds of successful online events and programs for rural women (and some lucky men) since 2014. These have included everything from 5 day 36 presenter Online Festival and 1 day 9 presenter workshops to 3 day Business Activation Experiences. We’ve also hosted 1 hour information sessions, 3 hour planning sessions, hot seat and mentoring experiences and virtual drinks and nibbles! We know what we are doing. More than 700 women have participated in our online Coaching, Mentoring & Development programs and we have an amazing experience development/events team who collectively have 100+ years experience at creating transformative, fun and engaging experiences and who have figured out how to take our knowledge in how to do this ‘in person’ and adapted it to work in the ‘online’ environment extremely successfully (actually…sometimes we think it works BETTER online!)
