Each month we focus on a specific topic, designed to help you develop strategy and structure for business growth and development. The information provide is general in nature and can be applied to all businesses regardless of size – it will be as relevant to a business ready to scale as it is for a start up or micro-business founder.
In addition to being provide with specific content on the topic, our HOSTS provide mentoring LIVE in the online session AND you can connect with the other rural women who join the call.
Virtue: PATIENCE
Part of our journey to Thrive, Heal and Evolve includes developing ourselves personally. Each month we also look at a Virtue, designed to help us reflect and take a fresh perspective. We weave the monthly Virtue through our business training so we become stronger both personally and professionally.
About Our Speaker Fleur:
I’m a purpose coach. Which is like a life coach and business coach focussed on purpose. Or magic. Or whatever it is you want to call it. For the people who want more, but have just never been able to find the time or the focus to put their finger on what exactly that it, or how exactly they can do it.
I work as a purpose coach (which is like a life coach but focussed on purpose) in my own business in Geraldton. I’m a mum of 4 daughters (aged 20-5) and 2 step-children (one boy amongst 5 girls) and live with 5 of the kids, my partner, Grant, who works as an agronomist and 2 dogs, 1 cat, 2 rabbits and 8 chickens.
I grew up on a family farm in Ajana in the most northern wheatbelt and left WA to study Marine Biology at Uni in Qld. I’m a scientist, I’m more interested in big picture and ecology and people than detail, and have worked in entomology, environment, run a nature-based farm tourism business and been a rural financial counsellor. And then I became a life coach, and worked with lots of people and realised that many of them were searching for something. They came on the pretext of relationship or career or unhappiness but really they all wanted something, that at first I didn’t realise was what I had always wanted and searched for. Meaning. Purpose. The point. That for me I was worried that maybe it all meant nothing. And then what would I do?
I was also always good at being incredibly busy. But not always doing the right stuff. The stuff that made my heart and soul sing. The stuff that helped other people find their purpose or gift or magic in the world, so they could do more of that and their hearts and souls could sing too.
So. I decided to focus on purpose. Or magic. Or whatever it is you want to call it. For the people who want more, but have just never been able to find the time or the focus to put their finger on what exactly that it, or how exactly they can do it.
My purpose journey means I run my own business – and a series of online coaching programs including the 8 week Incubator (incubating purpose) and The Inside Out Love Story (the self-love journey) and am also a 1:1 coach specialising in relationships.

Live your core values
I have found core values and getting them in alignment to be ONE of the KEYS to success for me and for all the people I work with. Often, we are out of integrity with what really resonates with us, and although we may feel uncomfortable or angry with that, sometimes it’s actually hard to know why. So, unless you are clear on your values, you can’t make good choices about what’s for you and what’s not for you AND our values evo Core values are one of as guidance, aligned action, how to choose with easelve and shift over time so even if you done values work before, it’s important to revisit them as you grow. You’ll learn – your top 5 values, how to rank them, and how to get them into alignment via action to live a life that feels balanced.

The safety net of strong boundaries
I liken boundaries to a safety bubble inside of which you are safe but you can take things in and let things out – but only things that fit within your own value of yourself. They are not a set of harsh rules for other people, they are something within which you know how you’re going to show up, what choices you need to make and what things you need to say to the people who push up against them. Boundaries treat people how to teach you and when you understand how to hold them you feel more space, have more time and have more to give in a healthy way.

Human emotional needs – why you do what you do
There’s a whole lot of unconcious stuff (beliefs, patterns, rules) going on in us which influence us every day in the choices we make and the ways we behave. As a life coach, understanding some of thje drivers and bringing it to our conscious mind is the first and most powerful step to becoming a more deliberate creator (where you choose how you want to show up and react in situations, rather than feeling out of control of your emotions and behaviours. One set of drivers include our human emotional needs – significance, connection, variety, certainty, love, contributuion and growth – and the vehicles (people, things, activities) we choose to meet these needs. We can do this is a healthy way or an unhealthy way – and this session will help you identify the best ways to meet your needs, and create the life you want.

Courageous leadership and vulnerability
The superpower of the feminine is an untapped resource (of wisdom, intuition, energy, time, clarity and real communication) which many women have misinterpreted or shut down in an effort to just get everything done. Learning how to recognise this, getting comfortable with vulnerability and finding purpose are all connected.
